The deeper step-through frame also makes mounting and dismounting much easier, especially when loaded with gear or layered in hunting apparel.

Two frame sizes, one bike

The Pioneer 2 comes in two frame sizes. Both share the same 750W motor, 30AH battery, up to 120 miles of range, integrated rear rack, 450 lb capacity and full UL certification. Only the wheels and the drivetrain differ.

• L (26") frame 26" x 4" puncture-resistant Kenda fat tires, 10-speed drivetrain. Seat height 31.3" to 42.3". Fits riders about 5'6" to 6'4". $2,399.
• S (20") frame 20" x 4" puncture-resistant Kenda fat tires, 8-speed drivetrain. Seat height 28" to 39", and 9" shorter overall, so it is easier to fit in a garage or on a rack. Fits riders about 5'0" to 6'0". $2,299.

Both frames are deep step-throughs with a standover under 21", so mounting is easy on either. The difference that matters is seat height: the S drops 3.3" lower, which is what makes it work for shorter riders.
