Katool KT-198L Auto Body Frame Machine
The Katool KT-198L is a full-size auto body frame machine built around a tilt hydraulic lifting platform with drive-on, drive-off ramps that allow vehicles to be loaded under their own power. The platform tilts hydraulically for positioning during pull work and is supported by lightweight, flexible legs that adapt to typical shop floor variation.
Chassis clamping is handled by quick-fix clamp jaws that engage via a clockwise screw motion, accelerating setup between vehicles. A leading-arm tower applies multi-directional tensile force during collision correction, and a tower wheels movement device repositions the tower around the platform to align with the required pull angle on frame rails, pillars, and body panels.
The machine is fabricated using automatic robot welding for joint consistency across load-bearing assemblies, and ships with accessories for collision repair, configured to the unit specification. The KT-198L is intended for collision repair shops and body service facilities.
