The Katool KT-6100 is a 3 KW aluminum panel spot welder and dent puller engineered for body repair on aluminum-skinned vehicles, which lack the tensile response of steel and cannot be straightened through conventional spot-and-pull techniques. The unit operates on 110V, draws up to 9000A of instantaneous current, and stores energy in a 100,000 μF capacitor bank that completes each charge cycle in approximately 0.3 seconds.

Welding is controlled through a microcomputer-driven PCB with automatic overheating protection and side-vented heat dissipation. Pull-stud engagement uses a plug-and-play ring compatible with M4, M5, and M6 fasteners, and gun pressure adjusts automatically to the stud size. A point grounding head controls current direction during the weld cycle.

Single-side welding thickness is rated at 1.2 mm, with adjustable power across 60 to 90 gear settings. The KT-6100 is intended for collision repair shops and aluminum body restoration on hoods, doors, roof panels, and similar low-thickness aluminum components.
