The Triumph NTB-550 is a versatile electronic wheel balancer built for everyday passenger and light-truck wheels. The standout feature for accuracy work is the foot-pedal wheel brake — it holds the wheel locked in position while you place each weight, eliminating the wheel-creep that can throw off a balance reading on lighter machines. Static and Dynamic balancing modes handle steel and alloy wheels alike, with a speed nut for fast wheel mounting and self-calibration for setup and verification. The display reads in grams or ounces and mm or inches, so it adapts to whatever unit system your shop uses. Cycles in 6–9 seconds with ±1 gram accuracy.

⚠️ This is a passenger-class balancer, not a truck balancer. 150 lb maximum wheel weight and 44" maximum tire diameter cover passenger and light-truck wheels — confirm your wheel weight and tire size are within rating before ordering. For medium-duty truck wheels (up to 350 lb), use the NTB-1200.

⚠️ Bolt the balancer to a level floor before operation. A rigid mount is required for accurate readings and safe operation — install per the manufacturer's instructions.

⚠️ Always lower the protective wheel hood before spinning the wheel. The hood is a safety guard against thrown weights or detached wheels during the spin cycle.

⚠️ Rim width is manually entered. Distance and diameter are not automated on this model; the operator inputs all dimensions on the keypad before each balance.

⚠️ Tire equipment ships LTL with liftgate service included (unlike auto lifts) — the driver will lower the unit to the ground at the back of the truck, but will not move it inside your shop or assemble it.
